About the Role
Applications are invited for a Senior Scientific Officer to support the processing of COVID-19 tests. This role would suit individuals with a MSc in life sciences, or the equivalent working experience, and will give the candidates the opportunity to play an integral role in the establishment and support of a high-throughput laboratory.
Applicants should have a MSc or PhD in the life sciences subject, or equivalent working experience in a wet lab research environment. Experience of managing and training a team is essential, as is experience of working in a GcP/GxP laboratory. Applicants will need knowledge of relevant legislation, GCP, clinical governance and research ethics.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is a full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment to 31 March 2022, with an immediate start. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £34,733 - £40,797 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Shift work, including weekend working, will be required.
