About the Role
The purpose of this role is to ensure that staff and students in the School of Geography, receive excellent support in their use of digital technologies for learning, teaching and assessment. The postholder will be responsible for driving and supporting digital learning innovation and development and will support the successful delivery and continual improvement in the quality of the education programmes within the School.
You will have experience of using virtual learning environments (Moodle expertise desirable) at administrator, designer, instructor and user levels of access preferably within a higher education setting. You will also have knowledge of the functionality and effective use of learning technologies such as e-portfolios, lecture capture, web conferencing and media streaming systems with specific knowledge of Mahara, Echo 360, Kaltura, Blackboard Collaborate and Zoom.

The School is located within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which is comprised of eight Schools.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date of September 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,084 - £44,087 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
