About the Role
The post holder will be dedicated to the effective invoice generation and debt collection of the Queen Mary residential estate, currently worth £18.5M per annum.
The role will also be responsible for the key operational liaisons required with the central credit control team at Queen Mary.
The post holder will be required to support the Head of Housing Services and Housing Services Manager in delivering a high quality customer focused service providing residential fee advice and payment plan arrangements, financial guidance and funding options available to students of Queen Mary, including signposting to student support services.
You will have experience working within a Higher Education finance environment, preferably with knowledge of both Agresso and Kinetics systems. Qualifications should include a degree with relevant financial or accounting experience (ICM qualification). Key skills; ability to plan and manage a time specific workload, excellent attention to detail and experience in complaint resolution.
The post is full time (35 hours per week), permanent. Starting salary will be in the range of £27,742 - £34,220 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
