Post title: Clinical Research Fellow Post ref: QMUL25279

Applications are sought for a Clinical Research Fellow to undertake a project in the laboratory and/or clinic, that will form the basis of a research degree PhD thesis, investigating the tumour microenvironment and immunotherapy in haematologic malignancies. The research will be based in the Centre for Haemato-Oncology, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.  Clinics will be based at the London Clinic.

The postholder must have a Medical degree from a recognised institution, GMC registration and Specialist registrar grade or below. Essential requirements for this post include relevant experience in Haematology and Adult Medicine. Relevant lab experience and experience of scientific data handling would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential.

The post is full time fixed term post for 4 years. Starting salary will be in the range SP4/ £50,017 per annum plus London Weighting per annum. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
