Reporting to the Deputy Director of Procurement and working closely with the Category Managers on a day to day basis, the Assistant Category Manager will support the Category Managers. They will also manage, maintain and develop low value supply agreements to achieve best value for money and good practice in non-pay expenditure.
To co-ordinate and apply good procurement procedures and techniques to meet the business objectives of Queen Mary University of London with professional competence.
A responsibility of this position is to apply best practice procurement across Queen Mary University of London particularly in key spend areas, contributing significantly to a professional and flexible procurement service.
This is a permanent role and the starting salary will be in the range of £34,733 - £37,632 per annum (Depending on experience), inclusive of London Allowance.
