Overview:

About the Role

The role is within the growing Research Impact team within the Business Development team (part of Queen Mary’s Research Services Directorate). It will primarily focus on delivering Queen Mary’s Impact Fund, which includes Queen Mary’s EPSRC and STFC impact acceleration accounts (IAAs) and Proof of Concept (PoC) funding, and has a clear focus on impact generation and aligned to Queen Mary’s strategy. The role will work across Queen Mary’s three Faculties, i.e Science and Engineering, Medicine and Dentistry and Humanities and Social Sciences, to build on the work of several previous IAA awards, apply for new IAA funds, develop new partnerships, strengthen existing ones and support to researchers to deliver economic and societal impact from UKRI- funded research.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to manage Queen Mary’s IAA awards and provide high quality support to the Research Impact team for identifying potential opportunities for creating impact from UKRI-funded research.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 2 years. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £34,000 - £36,000 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
