The School is looking to appoint a member of the team to provide a professional and efficient service relating to all areas of exams and assessment administration within the School, in accordance with the University’s procedures and regulations. The post holder will primarily be responsible for assessments relating to the School’s foundation and postgraduate programmes.
Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and have substantial experience in exams and assessment and problem solving. As a skilled communicator, you will be able to liaise effectively with a range of customers and staff at all levels of the organisation. Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to prioritise workload and work unsupervised, are also essential. The role holder will also be expected to work flexibly when dealing with planning and change, and have a willingness to work extended hours when required.
The post is part time, 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE) and fixed term for 9 months, from 1st September 2017 – 31st May 2018. This fixed term post is available due to secondment, and it is expected that the successful candidate will hold it for the full period.
Starting salary range will be £19,773 to £20,858 per annum (£32,956 to £34,764 per annum pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ pro rata annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
