Applications are sought for an experienced Postdoctoral Research Assistant to undertake research investigations in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) in order to realise the objectives and development of the research programme. The research will be based in the Centre for Tumour Biology, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.

Essential requirements for this post include a PhD in a relevant biological subject and an undergraduate degree in a biological subject. We are looking for an individual with extensive research experience, with first author publications in relevant fields. The post-doctoral research assistant will be well-versed with histopathology techniques such as Immunohistochemistry, Tissue microarray and multiplex staining, FACS and murine experiments. The ideal candidate would have good knowledge of lymphoid lineages such as T cells, dendritic cells and B-calls with assays employed for these cell types. Knowledge of cancer immunology, particularly pancreatic cancer would be highly desirable but not necessary.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 12 months, with an expected start date of 1st September 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 4/5, in the range of £34,220 - £44,807 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
