We are recruiting to a full-time permanent contract for the role of Event Manager in the Events and Ceremonies Team at Queen Mary University of London.
Working closely with the Head of Events and Ceremonies this role holder will be responsible for delivering Queen Mary’s most high-profile and complex events, including Graduations, Open Days and Public Lectures.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and people skills who has a passion for impactful marketing and communications who wants to make a difference through delivering high quality events.
We are ideally looking for a candidate with experience working in events within the higher education sector, with a passion for successful end to end project management and an understanding of the events landscape and emerging trends within the sector.

The Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audiences, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week) permanent appointment. We are hoping that the successful candidate will be able to join us within 1 month of interview but will consider longer notice periods for the right candidate.
The salary will be Grade 5, £38,084 - £39,125 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
