We are seeking two highly motivated academics who have the commitment and ability to make an active contribution to Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in Gozo, Malta. We wish to recruit academics who have the experience, passion and vision to join our team and contribute to this exciting project.

The successful candidate will possess a PhD, MBBS or equivalent with a demonstrable track record of outstanding teaching and research. This post is a teaching and development role and we welcome applications from candidates who can deliver high quality education and assessment to medical students in clinically relevant basic sciences. 

As part of the on-going curriculum expansion, the post-holder will have the opportunity to assume responsibility for the delivery and development of basic and applied science teaching, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular physiology or neurophysiology/pharmacology.  They will also collaborate extensively with academic staff at the parent medical school in London.  We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in academic and pastoral support.

Salary for appointment as Lecturer is €44,802 per annum and for Senior Lecturer is €51,923.  Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave. Relocation assistance is available.
