About the Role

The School of Politics and International Relations is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Research Manager.

The post holder will be a member of the professional services team in the School of Politics and International Relations reporting to the Faculty Research Manager and will be responsible for the effective management of all activities requiring research support. The post holder will support the development and implementation of the School’s research strategy, managing finances related to research and, where appropriate, will deliver strategic research objectives. The post holder will also provide high quality professional service for the School’s Postgraduate Research Student programme, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of service to prospective students, current students and staff, and managing financial support for PGR students.

About You

You will have excellent analytical and numerical skills, coupled with a solid understanding of research funding and the research environment. The ability to develop strong and productive working relationships with members of staff as well as facilitate excellent communication with external contacts is essential.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time permanent appointment with an expected start date of November 1st 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,655 - £45,479 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
