Overview:

The William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI) leads major international programmes investigating the genetic and pathogenic mechanisms of cardiovascular, inflammatory and endocrine diseases. 

Applications are invited for a Post Doctoral Research Assistant with experience in antibody engineering, in particular phage display technology and an experience in translational research in immunology.  The post is a 6 months with possible extension for 1 years with the aim to develop an antibody engineering platform. Candidates should have a degree in Immunology or a related biological sciences discipline, with a productive track record, and have experience covering the full range of duties required for the post.

This is a full time, fixed-term appointment for 6 months and is available from the 14st May 2021. Starting salary will be £34,220 per annum (inclusive of London allowance) but may be adapted to the candidate experience. The benefits package includes 30 days annual leave; a contributory pension scheme and an interest free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006
