About the Role
The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London is looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to support projects in the Antennas group led by Prof Yang Hao. The role is to develop software defined materials for antennas and metasurface applications.
Applicants should have a PhD in Electronic Engineering. They should have expertise in electromagnetics theory and applications. Good knowledge of passive metasurfaces, wave matter interaction, computational electromagnetics, and reconfigurable and non-reciprocal devices is desirable for this position. It would also be desirable for applicants to have publications in leading journals in the field.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full- time post, fixed term appointment for 15 months (with the possibility of extension, subject to further funding approval), with an expected start date of September 2021. The annual starting salary will be in the range of £34,220 to £36,098. Salaries are inclusive of London allowance.
