1.0 FTE Student Support Administrator

The Institute of Health Sciences Education (IHSE) invites applications for the post of Student Support Administrator. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure smooth running of the Student Academic and Pastoral Support Office, student support functions, and contribute to enhancing the student experience.

The post-holder will responsible for the effective provision of administrative duties in relation to providing pastoral support to students. Applicants should have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders. They will also need to be empathetic to the needs of the students, have insight into the importance of effective administrative structures and processes, and have the knowledge and experience of working in higher education.

The post is based at the Garrod Building in Whitechapel, London, though there is flexibility for the postholder to work remotely some of the time, if desired. This is permanent, full time 1.0FTE position. Starting salary will be in the range £28,208-£34,733 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
