Overview:

An experienced manager is required to lead efficient day-to-day operations for the above Centre, to support the implementation of the Institute’s research strategy and to provide effective administration, with a focus on finance and human resource procedures.  

The post requires a person with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to use tact and discretion, whilst remaining calm and able to manage multiple deadlines.  Previous experience of working in senior administration, including either Higher Education or NHS, is essential. A scientific background and staff management experience would be an advantage.  

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health harnesses expertise across a wide range of population based research and education activities and aims to be an internationally recognised centre of excellence in population health and preventive medicine. The Institute is organised into five separate research centres which, though complementary and following the Institute strategic plan, also have Centre-specific objectives and requirements.

The post is based between our Charterhouse Square and Whitechapel campuses in London. It is a full time permanent appointment, with an expected start date of December 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,655 - £45,479 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
