ITS invites applications for an Apprentice Business Analyst to be based at our Mile End campus in London. The apprenticeship is an entry level post with training provided over an 18 month period.

The role will comprise working at Queen Mary University of London with 1 day a week allocated to the achievement of project work. The successful candidate will also be required to attend training off-site 1 day a month.

The training will develop skills in analysis and modelling techniques, requirements gathering and various industry standard tools. As you learn, there will be ample opportunity to employ recently learned skills in a practical environment on any number of projects being carried out within the ITS department.

The post is full time for 2 years. Starting September 2017. Starting salary will be £17,794 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Post Requirements:

A keen interest in computing and its application in the business environment; a willingness to work hands on and the ability to enjoy working with a wide range of users would be advantageous.

A-levels (e.g. Maths, Science, Computing) or a relevant level 3 Apprenticeship. We also require GCSE English and Maths grade B or above.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
