We have seen a period of unprecedented growth in applications to QMUL in the last five years and are expanding our Admissions management team. The Deputy Head of Admissions (Undergraduate) will join a recently appointed Deputy Head of Admissions (Postgraduate) to work alongside an established Deputy Head with responsibility for Admissions Operations.

Our aim is to enhance QMUL’s reputation as a world-leading destination for study and research through the delivery of an outstanding applicant experience. You will join an Admissions management team committed to transforming the applicant experience and providing an outstanding professional service to our academic community. Key to this role will be effective liaison with one of our three Faculties and its constituent academic Schools and supporting them to meet annual objectives for the size, quality and composition of their student intake.

Ideal candidate for this positions will have recent experience of working in a leadership or management role in central Admissions in a UK university. You will have experience of working with and influencing staff at all levels and will be a flexible and proactive individual, committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in your work.   As well as knowledge and experience of managing a fair and professional Undergraduate Admissions function, you will be committed to service excellence and continuous improvement, and have experience of process review and projects as vehicles of business change.

This post will be a full time (35 hours per week) permanent appointment. Starting salary will be in the range of £45,577 - £50,881 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
